Happy Monday! So far I've been told that I'm practicing medicine without a license because I denied a prospect from being accepted to our non-medical school. He said this several times as well as telling me I was using his honesty against him. He wants to go into welding but can not hold his hands out long enough to scrub them.
I also had a student come to school drunk. Mind you I might have done this in college too, but I also did not start classes at 7:00am nor did I choose a field that required heavy machinery, nor did I drive to school. He assured me it was from what he drank last night and did not have time to change clothes. I really wanted to tell him that I've been to college and there is no masking the smell of drunkenness. He also drove his daughter to daycare. We held him until 12pm and since his blood alcohol level was below the legal limit this morning we could not contain him this afternoon.
How's your Monday going?
Oh! I got Britney tickets!! So excited!!

How many BBQ's can one person go to in a weekend?
I went to three BBQ's this weekend. We had one at the school where the students hosted it. One at one of the OTC employee's house out in BFE, OK. Seriously we went off the main street and drove on a gravel road which felt like forever. It took probably an hour and half to get there. I don't think I can drive that every morning to be at work by 6:30am. I'll stick with the city, thanks. Then today I had my third BBQ at my grandpa's house where I got to see the family. I found out one of my cousins is moving to outside of Denver. I also found out that my entire extended family is on facebook. They have convinced my father to join, so now I'm facebook friends with my dad. He's listed me as his child. I didn't even know you could tag your child in your facebook profile. This is getting ridiculous.
In other news, I don't really have other news. July should be very exciting. Going to Norman to see Harry Potter, lake (hopefully twice), and maybe a wedding. The wedding is out of town and the hubby keeps flipping back and forth between going and not going. If we decide on not going then I'm going to my high school reunion. So, we'll see.

It's not much but it's a blog
It's been so long since I've blogged it makes it harder to blog something. Do I update? Do I act like it hasn't been almost a month and just blog about something? What to do?
For starters I'm not going to my high school reunion. Dave and I have a wedding that we must go and show our support and it's out of state. So that was resolved rather easily.
I just saw a commercial for Latisse. The one where Brooke Shields is the spokesperson. Well Latisse happens to grow eyelashes. I knew a girl in middle school who plucked all of her eyelashes and they didn't grow back until after high school. They were never the same. I'm curious if Latisse would've worked for her. I always wanted thicker lashes, but is it worth it for the side effects of skin darkening, eye irritation, dryness of the eyes, and redness of the eyelids? I think I'll just stick with the mascara.
That is all.
