Do you follow it?

Do you ever give someone advise and when the exact same situation arises you do not follow it? Say when your husband has a mysterious rash appear on his arm that spreads to his chest and you tell him over and over again to see a dermatologist. Especially when he keeps saying how it’s spreading and you tell him you're grossed out and won't touch him and his feelings get hurt because he can't understand why. And then you wake up one day with the tiniest of a bump, but it itches and it doesn't appear to be spreading so you assume it’s a bug bite. And then the back of your legs start itching and again you assume its bug bites only when you look at the area it appears to be something resembling a rash? You can rationalize that you don't need to see a dermatologist because unlike your husband, you took years of chemistry and biology even though its been almost six years ago and you watch Grey's Anatomy as well as Plastic Surgery Before and After and clearly you're closer to understanding the dynamics of your skin then your husband who only holds a Business degree and hates any surgery shows. And you go and buy the generic cortisone cream and you impress yourself because it actually cures the mystery rash. You would be totally justified in not following your own advise.

To answer your question, all the time....all the time. ;)

I am also guilty of asking advice when I already know what I'm going to do.
